Aish Technologies, the Poole-based defence systems design and manufacturer, has won the Dynamic Growth Award at the 2016 Solent Business Awards. The company triumphed over some of the biggest organisations in the Dorset and Hampshire business community, picking up the award which recognises companies that demonstrate true innovation with the energy and passion for delivering change.
Lloyd Bates, Aish’s Managing Director, was thrilled to pick up the award. He commented:

The Solent Business Awards, organised by The Business Magazine, is designed to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements across the south coast. Judges this year, which include the Growth Award sponsor Pitmans LLP, said they were amazed by the depth of entries. David Murray, publisher of the Business Magazine commented “These awards are aimed very much at the ‘top-end‘; they are prestigious trophies that attract entries from the very best companies.”

Aish Technologies has experienced significant growth in the last 3 years, with sales in 2015 up 30% on the previous year. In 2016 the company has continued to expand and is on target to again exceed budgetary forecasts. It employs over 240 staff at its Broom Road headquarters, where primary focus is on the Marine and Defence sectors.
