Graham Joyce joins IMD Group
Bristol based management consultancy IMD Group announces the appointment of Graham Joyce as Chief Operations Officer.
The former Defence Delivery Director (Europe) of the world renowned civil engineering consultancy CH2M HILL brings to his new post a wealth of experience and expertise particularly in the areas of Project & Programme Management, Systems Engineering, and Bid Management.
Most recently Graham has been involved in the management of Defence & Nuclear programmes focussing on bespoke manufacturing processes, facility modernisation and new build, and P3M Consultancy within highly regulated environments.
Managing Director of IMD Group, Dean Taylor, said: “We are delighted that Graham has joined us in what is a formative and very important stage of our company’s development. Having already been awarded a number of Government defence industry consultancy assignments, we are now looking forward, with Graham’s guidance and support, to extending our services across a broader range of both Private and Public sector projects.”
“This is a fantastic opportunity to make a major contribution in shaping the future of IMD Group,” said Graham. “I’ve been impressed with the capabilities and commitment of the people at IMD and the company’s rapid growth should therefore come as no surprise. I am especially keen to leverage the wide range of accredited training courses offered through our Bristol Management Centre (BMC), our classroom based learning and development facility, in order to enhance the capabilities of our clients’ teams.”
In the last few months IMD consultants have been selected to support the Ministry of Defence’s Information Systems and Services (ISS) department, providing strategic procurement and commercial advice as part of the MoD’s ‘Defence as a Platform’ IT programme. This adds to the Systems Engineering work that IMD was already undertaking on behalf of the ISS unit’s Cryptographic Enabling Services, Information Management and secure, one-to-one voice and wideband data networks systems programmes.
