First UK company to achieve Aerospace SAE and ARINC ‘Fibre Optic Training’ accreditation from ETA® International.

AVoptics Ltd is the first European company to offer Aerospace SAE and ARINC training courses for fibre optics approved by the Electronics Technicians Association – International (ETA®). AVoptics Ltd specialise in optical systems for harsh environments and ETA® approval allows the company to provide internationally recognised training as either a SAE Fabricator and /or an ARINC Installer.
These courses differ from other nationally recognised qualifications in that they are focussed on providing the students with the necessary skills to fabricate and install fibre in harsh environments in sectors such as Aerospace, Defence, Security, Oil and Gas etc.

SAE Fabricator (SAE 5602/3 &4) – is a course for individuals involved in the manufacturing, installation, support, integration and testing of fibre optic systems. It is intended for managers, engineers, technicians, trainers/instructors, third party maintenance organisations, quality assurance and personal production. It is based on SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) standards and combines both knowledge and hands-on competencies.
ARINC Installer – ARINC organises aviation industry committees and participates in related industry activities that benefit aviation at large by providing technical leadership and guidance. ARINC recognises the ETA® International as the fibre optics industry training certification agency. This course, based on SAE standards, fully encompasses the ARINC 807 standard – Fibre Optic Training Requirements
