The UK aerospace sector is a global leader, number one in Europe and second globally only to the US. The UK’s (and Southwest’s) aerospace sector contributes massively to the economy with high growth potential in the near future. Aerospace leads in the development and application of innovation in both product and process. Aerospace and advanced engineering as a sector has a mature and well-defined innovation methodology that makes it a challenging and exciting industry to work in.
