Opportunity for WEAF Members: Boeing Defence UK Training for SMEs

Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) invites WEAF members to express interest in participating in training events aimed at engaging UK-based SMEs with the UK Defence industry. The programme, in support of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), will be delivered virtually and in person. Both existing and potential new suppliers are welcome.

The training will cover key topics relevant to participants, with selection based on completion of the ADS Supply Chain Solution Basic Assessment, which helps identify individual needs.

 

Key Details:

  • In-person Training: Held at Boeing’s Bristol site.
  • Virtual Training: Conducted via Webex or Teams, with an optional 1-1 follow-up session with BDUK’s Supply Chain Social Governance team.

BDUK is particularly interested in SMEs specialising in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul, Ground Support Equipment, tooling and calibration, and Paints, Oils, Lubricants, and Sealants (POLS).
