Published on: 9th July 2024

Bristol College is to support its students enrolled in T-Level Engineering, Digital, and Business programmes, by facilitating work placement positions. T-Levels are new technical qualifications that incorporate industry placements as a large part of their learning, giving students practical hands-on experience in their chosen field.

How could your support help?

Bristol College is looking for placements opportunities the Engineering, Digital and Business sectors:

  • Engineering – this could be with your fabricators (metal and plastics), electrical or manufacturing departments.
  • Digital – this could be support with your IT department and digital infrastructures.
  • Business – this could be in your finance, marketing, HR, admin or front desk positions.

If you feel you could provide a student with the necessary support, they will be looking for a minimum of 45 days/315 hours over 2 years, which can be completed either as 1 day a week, short blocks or spread over the duration of the course. They are flexible and can work with you to find a schedule that suits both your needs and those of their student. The courses all start in September with placements hoping to start at the end of the year/beginning of the new year.
