This year Airbus have doubled the amount of award funding. Your community could win an award plus funding from £1,000 to £7,000!
Is there a fantastic community group in your area who should be recognised?
Do they help support education and learning?
Are they making a positive impact on the environment?
Or are they making difference to the lives of vulnerable or disadvantaged people?
And could they benefit from some extra funding?
The Airbus Community Awards, in association with the Bristol Post and Airbus, is your chance to make that happen.
Ten un-sung heroes of our community will receive an award for the positive impact they have on their local communities, all nominated and voted for by Bristol Post readers.
And each award will be accompanied by a cash prize for the group to use to fund a future project, from £1,000 up to £7,000.
All community groups can enter provided they fulfil one of the criteria listed below. From there, all registered entries will be put to a panel of judges who will select the 30 lucky groups who will take part in the contest. The 30 shortlisted groups will appear in paper on Friday February 22 and Bristol Post readers can vote for their favourite.
To vote, you’ll need to collect voting tokens which will be printed in the Bristol Post between February 22 and March 18.
What will they win?
The ten winning groups will each receive prizes, ranging from £1,000 to £7,000.
- 1st Prize £7,000
- 2nd Prize £4,000
- 3rd Prize £2,000
- 7 runners up receive £1,000 each
From youth clubs and shelters to sports teams and trusts you have a chance to claim these amazing cash prizes.
